Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day?
We were surprised to learn nearly 25% of Americans skip breakfast. Some due to busy schedules while others simply because they don’t feel like eating in the morning. As with most other things, our body becomes used to the routine we choose so after a week or two of eating breakfast, your body will get used to it and start craving food in the mornings.
After 10 hours of not eating any food during the night, it’s necessary to replenish our stores of energy. Choosing the right breakfast foods which are high in calcium, iron, fiber and vitamins can also provide a lot of your recommended daily nutrient intake.
Believe it or not, studies have shown that people who eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight and are able to control their weight easier.
