Let’s face it, Ikea is a great place to hang around and look for new trends. Although we don’t recommend buying all of your furniture at Ikea (unless you want your home to look like an Ikea showroom), there are definitely a few pieces you can incorporate to make your home look like a million bucks.
Here are our top 8 picks from Ikea we love:
Curtains

Curtains are a great way to warm up your space by bringing in texture and color. We love the semi-sheer effect of these curtains, making them the perfect addition for a bedroom or living room. They come in lengths from 98″ to 118″ and have this nice linen-esque quality to them.

For a fuller look, consider opting for double curtains, as they provide two very different looks in one. They allow you to create a light and airy feel in the day and a cozy and private feel in the evening. We are obsessed with Ikea’s Lill curtains for the inner layer. Not only do they look great, but are incredibly affordable. They come in 110×98″.
Picture Frames

Picture frames don’t have to be fancy, or expensive, to look great. A simple black frame is a classic look that will never go out of style. The most important thing is to make sure the size is right for your art.
One benefit of using matching frames is that they’ll look polished and well put together no matter where you hang them in your home. This will allow you to move art around more easily without having to worry about whether the color and style of the frames match each other or their surroundings.
Pillow Inserts

We love buying pillow inserts and covers separately. It allows us to change up the colors and textures without a hassle. Ikea has a variety of inserts in different fills and shapes, but our favorite has to be the Inner cushion.
Mirrors
Lindbyn mirror in black ($64.99)

This mirror is a great addition to any room in your home. The oval shape is a classic style and looks great with any interior style. We love that you can hang this mirror vertically or horizontally to fit your space.
Cutting Boards

This beautiful oak wood cutting board with round edges is the perfect addition to any kitchen. Though we recommend using it as a charcuterie board instead.
Tupperware
Rectangular glass/bamboo food containers ($8.99)

It’s no surprise that Ikea has one of the best storage containers out there, and we are obsessed with the look of these glass/bamboo containers. We love using them in both our pantry and fridge.
Lamps
Atersken gold table lamp ($74.99)

If you’re looking to add some extra light to your place, but can’t find the space for a floor lamp, consider a table lamp! These are great for adding a decorative element without taking up too much room. Table lamps also provide ambient lighting that creates a warm and inviting vibe in any space. The unusual shape of the Atersken lamp is what makes it look luxurious and expensive.
