Hair oils, also known as hair conditioners and hair treatments, are a type of natural treatment for hair. They are made from plant-based oils and other ingredients that nourish your hair and scalp. You can use them as leave-in conditioners, deep conditioners, and even as styling products.
In this post, we’ll cover different kinds of hair oils and how to oil your hair to achieve the best possible results.
Almond Oil

Almond oil is a great moisturizer that also improves elasticity and provides the skin with a protective barrier against external aggressors. It nourishes the hair and scalp, prevents dryness, stimulates hair growth, reduces dandruff, and removes styling products.
Use: Massage a few drops of almond oil in your palm and apply to wet hair, before shampooing. Massage well into your scalp for best results.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is rich in natural vitamins A, D, and E, which makes it an excellent moisturizer for dry or damaged hair. It repairs damaged hair from within by restoring its natural moisture balance, which results in a soft bouncy texture and healthy shine.
Use: Massage 2-3 drops of jojoba oil into your palms, then rub them into your damp hair while focusing on the ends where they become most dry. Leave on for at least half an hour before rinsing thoroughly with warm water to remove excess oils.
Olive Oil

Olive oil is also rich in vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for your hair growth. You can apply it directly to damp or dry hair, depending on how much moisture you need at the time. It has a strong scent that might not be for everyone, but if you like it, then there’s nothing stopping you from using this oil every day!
Argan Oil
Argan oil is known as the “oil of kings” because it has been used in Moroccan culture to treat everything from skin conditions and even burns to psoriasis and scars. It’s also commonly used as a moisturizer for the body, but now you can use it on your hair too!
Hair Growth
When it comes to growing your hair longer or thicker, you should use oils on a daily basis. These treatments will help nourish your scalp and thus promote healthy growth by making the strands stronger. Some oils contain proteins that encourage the production of natural collagen which is essential for healthy hair. Other oils contain vitamins A, B, and C which help nourish your scalp and promote stronger growth. If you have dry or damaged hair, try adding some oil to your shampoo or other treatments once in a while so that you can repair damaged areas faster and prevent further damage from taking place.
Damaged Hair
Hair oils can help you get the most out of your hair. They can help repair damaged hair, prevent breakage and add shine. Use an oil-based formula on dry hair before you wash it to prevent split ends and breakage. Oil for Damaged Hair is a great product for women who want to grow their hair long and healthy. It’s made with natural oils that nourish the scalp, strengthen hair, and promote growth and shine.
Dandruff
Dandruff isn’t just a cosmetic issue; it’s a serious problem that can lead to not only an unpleasant scalp appearance but also an increased risk of infection. If you have dandruff, you’ll want to use an oil with tea tree oil or lavender oil because these are both antifungal and antiviral agents that will help fight off any fungus or bacteria that may be causing your dandruff problem. You can also mix the two together for a stronger effect. Just add a few drops of each onto your fingertips and gently rub them into the scalp area where there are most likely to be dandruff flakes.
Shine
Oils are the most popular option for adding shine to your mane. They’re available in a variety of forms from straight oil sprays to mousse-like products that you simply apply before blow-drying or flat ironing.
The best oils for shiny hair should be lightweight and contain ingredients like argan oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E.
Hair Oiling
When it comes to achieving the best possible results, opt for a proper hair oiling routine once a week. You can do it with any oil you like, but we recommend olive oil (it works best for us).
MASTER YOUR OILING TECHNIQUE IN 6 EASY STEPS:
Step One: Brush out your hair thoroughly, especially if you have any knots.
Step Two: Part your hair down the middle and create small sections.
Step Three: Apply a good amount of oil to your hands and warm it up between your palms before massaging it into your scalp.
Step Four: Generously oil the ends of your hair and put whatever is left on your hands in the middle part of your hair as well, but focus on the ends and scalp.
Step Five: The key is to leave the oil on your hair for as long as possible, but if you are in a hurry leave it on for at least 30 minutes. If you will be walking around doing other things, you may want to put your hair up in a bun.
Step Six: After your hair has been lathered in oil for a while, hop into the shower and thoroughly shampoo your hair twice to get rid of any oil residue. Use conditioner and styling products as usual and enjoy your shiny hair.
