Fall is one of our favorite seasons, and we can’t wait to get back into our cozy clothes and cozy activities.
We’ve been busy planning our fall activities, from Halloween costumes to pumpkin carving and more.
Here are some of the things we’re looking forward to this autumn:
Visit a pumpkin patch

If you want to get out of town and enjoy some alone time with your loved ones, then visit a local pumpkin patch. You can pick out a pumpkin that matches your personality or one that brings back memories of your childhood.
Drink Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is coming back this fall, so be sure to stop by your local Starbucks location before it’s gone! The drink is made with a blend of pumpkin puree, spices, cream, and steamed milk — it’s like a warm pumpkin pie latte without the crust. Plus, it tastes so good that even non-coffee drinkers will be hooked on this drink!
Learn how to make caramel apples

Caramel apples are one of our favorite fall treats! They’re simple to make (no baking required) and they taste amazing. Plus, they’re fun to decorate with leaves, nuts, or sprinkles!
Carve a pumpkin
There’s nothing better than carving pumpkins on Halloween night! It’s a tradition that we can’t wait to keep doing each year. This activity is best done with friends or family members because it doesn’t take long at all. You can even make this a fun competitive activity to see who comes up with the scariest-looking pumpkin.
Go for a hike once a week
Fall is the perfect time to go on a nature walk. Not only does it get you outside and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but it also allows you to see fall colors in all their glory.
DIY a funny Halloween costume

Halloween is right around the corner! If you haven’t thought about what costume you want yet (or if you want to keep it simple), maybe consider making a homemade costume. It could be as easy as picking up some cheap accessories at your local discount store or buying a few pieces from Amazon that only cost $10-$20 each (like tights or boots). If you aren’t much of a DIY person, you can also find many different types of costumes on Amazon — there are plenty of options for men, women, and kids.
Take pictures in a pile of leaves
Fall is the perfect time to take pictures in natural settings. The colors are beautiful, there are fewer people around and it’s not too hot!
Roast Chestnuts
Chestnuts are delicious and healthy — so it’s no surprise that people love to roast them during the fall season. This is also a great activity for kids because it’s messy and fun! Plus, it doesn’t take much effort at all! If you don’t have any chestnuts yet, head to the grocery store before Halloween and pick up a bag!
Visit a corn maze
Corn mazes are becoming quite popular this time of year, so if one of these is on your list of things to do this fall then go ahead and make time for it! You can find them at amusement parks or farms around town. You’ll spend about 2-4 hours visiting the maze and then have some delicious corn on the cob after your visit!
Make a freshly baked pie for friends and family

Baking pies is one of life’s true pleasures and no one knows this better than my mom who has been making homemade pies since I was born! Whether you’re looking for an easy apple pie recipe or want to try something new like pumpkin pie, these delicious recipes will have your mouth watering as soon as they hit the oven!
Visit a spooky haunted house
If you’ve never been to one before, they are always fun and scary at the same time! Bring your camera along so you can capture some awesome photos while you’re there!
